Photos of the Week by Cally Matherly
This week we are loving these photos by Equine Photographer Cally Matherly
This is what she says about them..
” Sunday morning we awoke to a heavy layer of frost and about 20 degrees, the sun was just starting to come up. I was hoping maybe Shawn would agree to help me get the boys in the back pasture for a few pictures and he did. 🙂 It has been a while now since Peter and Jericho have been pastured together but I felt like it was time for the 2 stallions to get busy playing and exercising again and maybe Peter would have settled down some. And that he did- Jericho told him a time or two who was boss and just like that they were grazing on some frozen grass. 🙂 I stayed out there a while and it was so quiet and peaceful. It is amazing what you can see when you take the time to look, and listen. I heard the crunching of teeth, slight wind in the few leaves left on the trees, and a crane honking in the distance. Special for sure. “
